How it works:

The Kato Unitrack Concrete Sleeper (Tie) Double track is completely compatible with all other Unitrack. The Double Track Curved pieces (20-181) feature 'Superelevated Curves' which means that they are tilted to create a realistic banked shape. This does mean that 'Easement Curves' (20-182) are required to connect to the superelevated curves to regular flat track (either double track or Standard Kato Unitrack)

Easement curves are superelevated at one end (marked by a triangle on the underside of the piece) and flat on the other. They act as 'adaptors' for the superelevated curves.
